Patrick Kelly

Patrick Kelly received an MFA from The George Washington University (Washington DC) and a BFA from East Carolina University (NC). He has shown in Portland at Worksound, Basil Howard Gallery, Half/Dozen, Autzen Gallery (PSU) and Nationale. Kelly鈥檚 work is included in collections of The Oregon Arts Commission,聽the Museum of Modern Art Library (NY), and Yale University’s Bieneke Rare Book and Manuscript Library (CT). 聽He has exhibited in group shows at聽LxWxH and聽Vermillion Galleries,聽(Seattle, WA),聽Archer Gallery (Vancouver, WA), Viridian Artists Inc, (NY),and聽Connor Contemporary, (Washington, DC).聽He is the 2003 recipient of a Morris Louis Fellowship.聽His work has been described by critic Nina Karaicic as using “a repetitive and laborious process to create images that challenge visual perception and serve as an observable record of passing time.” 聽Kelly is on the Art faculty of Rock Creek Campus.
