Course Description
Introduces surveying and surveying equipment to high school teachers through experiential learning. Educators will learn how to integrate surveying concepts into classroom instruction and help students understand career opportunities in the surveying profession.
Intended Outcomes for the course
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use basic surveying equipment such as an automatic level and a GNSS Receiver appropriately.
Survey at a fundamental level within safety standards of the profession.
Explore hands-on surveying activities that can be adapted for classroom use.
