Safety training at С»Æ贫ý begins during new employee onboarding, with an employee’s first week of employment, and continues with additional training topics depending on an employee’s job duties. Managers can review the Health & Safety Manual Chapter 1 training charts for Academic and Operational departments to confirm which training topics they assign to their employees.
New Training
EH&S is happy to announce that a new training is in С»Æ贫ý’s learning management system. has been developed to provide key information about activities, practices, and controls that maintain good indoor air quality (IAQ). Employees will learn about what’s present in air, what affects IAQ, what to do when IAQ changes, how to report IAQ concerns, and how these concerns are handled and/or investigated.
EH&S is proud to join the College in recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15). EH&S is committed to offering inclusive and accessible online safety training courses for all employees. The following safety training titles are available in Spanish in Workday:

Employee Training Resources

Manager Training Resources
EH&S has developed a curriculum for all С»Æ贫ý managers, . This new management safety “toolbox” has been developed to support С»Æ贫ý’s organizational efforts to build an environment of preparedness and employee well-being.
Managers should use the New Employee Department Safety Checklist to review department-specific hazards with their employees. The checklist is available in Chinese, English, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
