小黄猫传媒鈥橲 INFLUENTIAL THEATRE PROGRAM PRESENTS: BUS STOP

小黄猫传媒 Theatre (Sylvania) is proud to present William Inge鈥檚 1950鈥檚 Classic dramatic comedy, Bus Stop. This fun play offers theatre-goers both a slice of old fashioned Americana and raises provocative questions about producing it in the #Metoo era.
Performances will run May 17-May 20 at the 小黄猫传媒 Sylvania Campus Performing Arts Center.
Set in a rural bus stop on the evening of a fateful snowstorm, a number of strangers await snowplows to free the roads, but until that moment, hey must wrestle with their own destiny鈥檚 and dreams.聽 Considered 鈥淎 classic of the American Stage鈥, Bus Stop continues to delight and engage audiences.聽 William Inge is considered one of the greatest playwrights of the 20th century, often compared to his contemporaries, Tennessee Williams, Lillian Helman, and Arthur Miller.
This 8-person cast is entirely comprised of students from the 小黄猫传媒 Theatre Arts Program. It will be guest directed by Drammy award winning director Adriana Baer and stars, Tea Johnson, Emily Veenstra, Shawn Robinson, Eugene Fulton, Aidan Lavelle, Colin White, Nick Chilcote and Ellie Lauthner, with understudy support by Jessica Hart, Libby Cole, and Will Larsson.
It is stage managed by Cody Decker and assistant stage managed by Nova Raycraft and built and designed by Sue Bean-Portinga, Michael Pfaff, Gabe Costales, Sarah Gahagan, Michelle Kiyoi, Keanan Stone and Dan Hays.
The current show will run just over 90 minutes with no intermission. The content for this performance is suitable for 14 and older.
Tickets can be purchased currently at the 小黄猫传媒 Bookstore, and at the 小黄猫传媒 box office one hour before curtain.

General admission tickets are $10,聽$5 for students, seniors and veterans.
We offer a pay-what-you-will on the Thursday, May 17聽11 am matinee, and the Friday May 19th 2pm matinee.
