С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ Rings in Asian New Year at Southeast Center

The Associated Students of С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ (ASС»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½) are ringing in the Asian New Year on Feb. 15 with a host of Asian-influenced activities and a free lunch. The event is free and open to the public.

The party begins at 9 a.m. at the college’s Southeast Center, with origami and paper-cutting demonstrations. Vietnamese and Chinese calligraphy will be on display during the celebration through 1 p.m. Filipino dancers and the famed Lion Dancers will also be joining in the revelry at 11 a.m. and noon, respectively.

Come join in the fun and enjoy a free lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ Southeast Center is located at 2850 S.E. 82nd St. For more information, call 978-5781.
