小黄猫传媒 Singles Series Features Wine-Tasting, Fine Dining

PORTLAND, Ore. – Wine tasting, first impressions and dating traps are the focus of a three-part non-credit series, Singles in the City, being offered this fall by 小黄猫传媒.The series opens Friday, Oct. 5 with Wine-tasting: Noble Varietals from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Oregon Wines on Broadway, 515 S.W. Broadway. Single professionals are invited to learn why Pinot Noir, Carbernet Sauvigon and other varietals are considered "noble"while sampling the Pacific Northwest’s best. Instructor Wendy Gilson will share interesting facts about harvesting grapes and making wine. An optional no-host dinner will follow at Pazzo Ristorante. The series continues Saturday, Nov. 10 with a discussion on How to Make a Great First Impression from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morrison Park, 803 S.W. Morrison (at Park). Image consultant Liz Marcum will share advice on etiquette, finding a unique look and offer dozens of tips on making a lasting first impression. An optional no-host dinner will follow at Bush Gardens. The series concludes Saturday, Nov. 17 with Solutions to Twelve Common Dating Traps from 5 to 7 p.m. at Morrison Park. The session will take a light-hearted look at common dating traps and how to avoid them. Also taught by Gilson, the session will provide participants with the "essential"skills they need for successful dating. An optional no-host dinner will follow at Brasserie Montmarte.
