Two Items: Local Teachers Go Back to School With С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ Costa Rica Excursion

PORTLAND, Ore. – Local educators can earn extra credit by brushing up on cultural lessons first-hand through a summer С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ trip to Costa Rica. In conjunction with Portland State University, С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ will guide teachers to practice Spanish, observe South American school systems, live with host families, and explore the natural wonders of Costa Rica in this unique travel-study program.Costa Rica for Educators offers a graduate three-credit option or non-credit option. Bill Christopher, executive dean of С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½’s Rock Creek Campus, will lead the excursion this summer, July 27 through Aug. 12. Cost for the trip is $2,799 for adults and $1,999 for children.
