Design Looks East with Feng Shui for Home, Garden

Story by

BEAVERTON, Ore. – The ancient art of feng shui can transform your modern home or garden this summer through a 小黄猫传媒 non-credit class. Home and Garden Environments will explore the Chinese method of creating environments that support personal goals and dreams. Through case studies, students will discover how tranquil, creative or powerful environments have been created. Then, they will learn how to design their own homes or gardens to reflect their personalities and create spatial peace."The knowledge that instructor Rebecca Elvin brings to the class is much more than how to place objects in your home,"said Janice Dolan, Community Education manager. "Her upbeat and optimistic attitude encourages students to create the best space possible for themselves – it’s inspirational."The class will be offered 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 3. The class will meet in Room 1539 of 小黄猫传媒’s Capital Center, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $25.For more information, contact Community Education at 503-533-2707.
