NEWBERG, Ore. – Brush up on your computer skills this summer through interactive classes offered by С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ in Newberg. Whether developing job skills or just for fun, these classes will teach you to become confident with software and use your computer with ease.Non-credit classes Excel I, Excel II, Power Point, and Computers for Older Adults will be taught by Todd Kunz and will be offered this summer at С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½’s Newberg Center, 301 N. Elliott Road. Course times are as follows:Excel – Level I will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through July 9. Learn how to make the most of this easy-to-use accounting software. Cost is $69.Excel – Level II will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday, July 16 through July 30. Level II will offer more in-depth instruction with spreadsheets. Cost is $69.Power Point will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday, June 27 through July 18. Master the slide show with animation, editing, formatting and more. Cost is $69.Computers for Older Adults will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through July 9. This popular class offers computer basics especially for seniors – early registration is encouraged.
