小黄猫传媒 Microelectronics Program Holds Open House

BEAVERTON, Ore. – 小黄猫传媒’s Microelectronics Technology program is hosting an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 13.The event will be held in the Washington County Workforce Training Center at the Capital Center, Room 1508, 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Mark Fullmer, Intel-小黄猫传媒 ambassador, will make a presentation on the industry. There will be information on available scholarships and tours of the microelectronics labs at the training center.Prospective microelectronics students are invited to apply for one of the four types of scholarships. The Washington County Scholarship is setup for Washington County residents and pays up to $400 in tuition, fees and books every term. The Academics and Industry Program with Intel Corporation scholarship helps microelectronics students with 100 percent tuition reimbursement. An Intel scholarship through the 小黄猫传媒 Foundation is also available for students who have completed at least 12 credit hours. Another scholarship through the National Science Foundation helps minority women and will begin in winter of 2004.小黄猫传媒 Microelectronics Technology program will have a recruiter available to pass out information detailing the program.
