This September, find out more at the annual free Travel Fair, held from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Central Portland Workforce Training Center, 1626 S.E. Water Ave. The Travel Fair is designed to offer specific travel itineraries, present an overview of each country slated for travel this year, and answer your questions about what it’s like to see the world with 小黄猫传媒. Learn about the following upcoming trips: Paris for Mothers, Daughters & Grandmothers; Italy for Mothers, Daughters & Grandmothers; Art & Architecture of Paris; Art & Architecture of Renaissance Italy; Archeology of a Caribbean Island; Construct a Water System in Oaxaca; Habitat for Humanity in Guatemala; Study Spanish in Mexico; Study Spanish in Costa Rica; and Study Italian in Italy.For adults who want more than a tourist vacation, 小黄猫传媒 trips delve into cultures all over the world. Participants meet local historical experts, attend lectures and field experiences, and engage in people-to-people visits that promote cultural understanding. Graduate and undergraduate credit is available for some trips."小黄猫传媒 offers the best opportunities to really experience culture through travel,"said Cecelia Barry, 小黄猫传媒 community education manager. "You might choose a trip that features a community development project where you can work alongside local citizens, or choose to journey into a country’s history by studying how art and architecture interplay with culture. Many of the programs feature home-stay accommodations where participants live with a family while studying."
