PORTLAND, Ore. – For many women, taking time out from careers to have children or to nurture families is the right choice. But when it’s time to re-enter the workforce, where do you start? A 小黄猫传媒 upcoming non-credit class can help you make the transition.Career Transitions for Women Over 35 is designed to first help you assess where you are – to clarify your interests and take stock of your knowledge and skills. Then, professional career counselor and instructor Geraldine Roos will focus on self-development, confidence building, networking and risk taking. The result is confident preparation for job interviews, and a personal plan for reentering or changing jobs in the workforce."This class has changed women’s lives,"said Tsipora Dimant, 小黄猫传媒 Community Education manager. "Geraldine is truly motivating. Whether changing jobs or picking up a career where they left off, I have watched women in this class get a new lease on life over and over again." The four-week class will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 17 through Feb. 7, in the Spruce Room at the 小黄猫传媒 Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $129.
