Spring bouquets become Japanese art in 小黄猫传媒 ikebana class

PORTLAND, Ore. – This spring, create works of art with your garden flowers – not just bouquets. Take a non-credit class in the Japanese style of flower arranging known as ikebana with 小黄猫传媒.Ikebana – Japanese Flower Arranging will emphasize graceful lines and natural beauty. Students will learn five styles to create their own floral works of art, with unlimited opportunities for artistic expression. "Instructor Hideko Hearn is a native of Japan and brings the ikebana tradition to life for her students,"said Amy Reardon, 小黄猫传媒 Community Education manager. "This is a great class to take in spring so you can fully enjoy and take advantage of the season’s flowers."The five-week class will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, April 6 through May 4, at 小黄猫传媒’s Washington County Workforce Training Center, 18624 N.W.
