PORTLAND, Ore. – Can buying and selling stocks lead you further down the path to enlightenment? Believe it or not, there is another way to approach investing besides the frantic "buy, sell, buy" attitude many adopt when playing the stock market. A new 小黄猫传媒 non-credit class will examine the cause and effect of buying and selling and investigate how to invest wisely using the principles of Taoism. Portfolio Manager Don Freeman will lead The "Tao" of the Dow (Jones). Learn five steps necessary to create a balanced investment portfolio while attracting spiritual and financial abundance into your life. Come explore a disciplined and balanced approach to investing. The one-day workshop will be offered twice this term as follows: from 9 to 10:50 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 8, in the Spruce Room of the CC Building at 小黄猫传媒 Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $19; and from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, in Room 146 of Tabor Hall at 小黄猫传媒 Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is 19.
