Make sense of medical terminology

Story by

PORTLAND, Ore. – Gain an understanding of what the doctor is trying to say. A non-credit online class offered by 小黄猫传媒 this fall will explain medical terminology. Douglas Best will teach Medical Terminology: A Word Association Approach. Students will become more empowered as a patient, taking charge of their healthcare and communicating more easily with their doctor. The class will cover each body system using multiple graphics and study tips. The online format includes unusual facts that are printable and can be saved. Held entirely online via the Internet, the six-week class offers the flexibility to open lessons to fit students schedules and features discussion boards with the instructor and other students. The class will be offered several times this fall: Oct. 19 through Nov. 25, Nov. 9 through Dec. 16, or Dec. 14 through Jan. 20. Cost is $79.
