Students explore creationism in 小黄猫传媒 class

Story by

PORTLAND, Ore. – For centuries, scientists have been debating the origins of the universe. For some the answers are very clear cut, and for others, they are not. 小黄猫传媒 delves into the issue of creationism from a scientist’s perspective in a five-week class. Come with your questions and be prepared to be challenged. In the class, How does a Scientist Look at Creationism?, the instructor will explore how theology affects American society and education. Instructor Duane Ray will review the ideas of creationism, related theologies and evolution to help you develop your own thoughts and opinions about the concept. The class will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 10 through Feb. 14, at the Friendly House Inc., 1737 N.W. 26th Ave. Cost is $69. For more information contact the 小黄猫传媒 Community Education office at 503-614-7308.
