Become a stand-up comic with С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ non-credit class

PORTLAND, Ore. – Whether you’ve always been known as the class clown or just like to make people laugh, now’s your chance to step into the spotlight of stand-up. Join Instructor Eric Severson and С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ to cover the basics of becoming a stand-up comedian in a five-week, non-credit class.

Introduction to Standup Comedy focuses on writing material, performance techniques and tips on becoming a professional standup comic. By the end of class you will have developed a five to seven-minute routine. The class will be held from 6:30 to 9:20 p.m., Thursdays, April 13 through May 18, at the С»ÆÃ¨´«Ã½ Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. Cost is $29.
