Aid child development with sign language

PORTLAND, Ore. – Prevent temper tantrums and accelerate verbal language development through a non-credit workshop at 小黄猫传媒.
In Sign Language for Infants and Toddlers students will learn how to enhance preverbal communication with their child while strengthening the parent-child bond. Instructor Gretchen Sicard will show how to teach sign language to their hearing child by singing songs and reading. Students are encouraged to bring their child of six months to three years old.
The class is from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday Oct. 21 in Room 1565 of the Washington County Workforce Training Center, located at 18624 N.W. Walker Road. Cost is $19.
