小黄猫传媒 wins sixth straight national award for budgeting
Story by James Hill
小黄猫传媒 was awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for 2006. It’s the sixth straight year 小黄猫传媒 has received this honor.
The honor highlights institutions that have high standards of governmental budgeting. In order to receive the budget award, the recipient had to satisfy nationally recognized guidelines for effective budget presentation, which includes how well it serves as a policy document, financial plan, operations guide and communications device.
The GFOA remarked in its news release that “the award represents a significant achievement by the entity. It reflects the commitment of the governing body and staff to meeting the highest principles of governmental budgeting. Award recipients have pioneered efforts to improve the quality of budgeting and provide an excellent example for other governments throughout North America.”
The GFOA is a non-profit professional association serving 16,800 government finance professionals throughout North America. For budgets including fiscal periods in 2005, 1,069 entities across the United States and Canada received the award.
