Women's health issues explored in 小黄猫传媒 class
Story by James Hill
For years herbs have been used for medicinal purposes. Even today, their popularity continues to grow, especially in the area of women’s health. This summer, 小黄猫传媒 will explore how herbs can benefit women’s health in a new non-credit class.
The course, Herbs for Women’s Health, explores how natural strategies can assist women through the complex stages of life. Instructor Jo Powell will discuss recipes and provide samples of various herbs, foods that students can take home. The Medicinal Herbalism prerequisite is recommended.
The one-day class will meet from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 11, in Room 144 of Tabor Hall at the Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $50.
