Class lets women explore second adulthood

If hot flashes are your new best friend and retirement is right around the corner, this new 小黄猫传媒 non-credit class is for you. Come get ideas about changing careers, finding new hobbies and aging gracefully while networking with other women in the same life stage.

Join the course, Women: Stepping into Second Adulthood, to discuss and explore steps that can be taken to move forward into the next life stage – the second adulthood. Instructor Jill Nelson-Deb will cover adult development issues and managing transitions: career, relationship and “elderhood.”

The class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesdays, Oct. 9 and 16, in Room 127 in Mount Tabor Hall at the 小黄猫传媒 Southeast Campus, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $35. For more information, contact the 小黄猫传媒 Community Education office at (503) 788-6265.
