小黄猫传媒 shows how to turn Henna Art into a business

Story by

Henna has been used to temporarily adorn the body since the Middle Ages; the graceful and beautiful designs have become timeless works of art and can be seen on people from all walks of life.

This spring, 小黄猫传媒 will offer a class that will take people’s henna skills to the next level while showing them how to start and build their own business. In the non-credit class, Henna as a Business, focuses on refining henna skills and learning advanced techniques. Instructor Kaniz Shah will show how to set up and market a business as well as how to build clientele.

The three-week class will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., Fridays, May 2 through May 23, in Room 137, Mt. Tabor Hall, at the 小黄猫传媒 Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $364. For more information, contact the 小黄猫传媒 Community Education office at (503) 788-6265.
