Clean choices for transportation on display at 小黄猫传媒

Thanks to support from the Oregon Department of Energy and Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities, 小黄猫传媒 is hosting more than 300 students for national Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day at its Automotive Service Technology shop at the Sylvania Campus. Anyone is welcome, including additional students and staff.

Hybrids, electric cars, compressed natural gas vehicles and more will be on display. Plus, experts on installing electric and compressed natural gas filling stations also will present.

WHAT: 2008 National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day, hosted by 小黄猫传媒’s Automotive Service program.

WHY: With the rapid increase in fuel prices, coupled with concerns for the environment and air quality, many Americans are searching for alternatives to gas and diesel fuel transportation. This event, held in multiple locations through the country, is designed to provide basic information on green alternatives.

WHEN: 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Oct. 3.

WHERE: Automotive and Metals Building, Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave.
