Hosted by the Infant Adoption Training Initiative and supported by 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Early Education and Family Studies program, 鈥淯nderstanding Infant Adoption鈥 will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, May 15聽in the Spruce Room,聽CC Building, Sylvania Campus.Topics to be addressed include:
- Non-directive counseling techniques
- Grief and loss in adoption
- Adoption law and practice
- Birthfather rights and responsibilities
- Special issues in counseling teens
