小黄猫传媒 Panther and Newberg Tiger join forces to promote education

Poppe the Panther, 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 celebrity mascot, paid a visit to Newberg on Oct. 1 and cozied up to Newberg High School鈥檚 Tiger at the annual homecoming football game against Hillsboro’s Century High School.聽With the help of cheerleaders and friends, the two cats tossed 小黄猫传媒 foam footballs to about 2,000 attendees between quarters and at half-time.

Newberg is the site of the college鈥檚 next educational center, set to open in fall 2011. A groundbreaking event for the facility will take place Oct. 13 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the at the property site, south of Highway 99W, near Brutscher Street and Fernwood Road. All are welcome.

Until the facility is completed, 小黄猫传媒 is offering a variety of credit and non-credit courses at its interim site, the Chehalem Cultural Center, where it currently serves more than 300 students.
