小黄猫传媒 launches legislative website

小黄猫传媒 has launched a website dedicated to the 2011 Legislature.
Students, staff, faculty and advocates of 小黄猫传媒 can follow the happenings in Salem at www.pcc.edu/about/legislature.
Lawmakers were sworn in on Jan. 10 but the actual legislative session begins Tuesday, Feb. 1. The session is expected to end in June.
鈥淥bviously, the budget is the No. 1 issue in Salem,鈥 said Preston Pulliams, president of 小黄猫传媒. 鈥淭he lawmakers face a $3.5 billion deficit for the 2011-13 biennium. Solving that crisis will take up much of this year鈥檚 session.
At the new website, readers can find links to the Legislature, the governor鈥檚 office and committee agendas. Dana Haynes, college public affairs manager, also will be blogging from Salem during the duration of the session.
