Cascade student government sets up bike rental program

The Cascade AS小黄猫传媒 has a new bike rental program for students to increase access to affordable, sustainable transportation. Students can rent 100-percent refurbished bikes from AS小黄猫传媒 for $15 per term. Applications are available in Room 03 of the Student Center and at the information booth.

The Cascade Campus (705 N. Killingsworth St) has the highest percentage of students and staff that commute by bike (10 percent) of any 小黄猫传媒 campus.

Bikes come with fenders, helmets, bells, locks and lights.

鈥淲e can loan students a commute-ready bike for a term, or consecutive terms,鈥 said Cascade Student Leadership Coordinator Kendi Esary. 鈥淥ur local partners will help students learn to fix your own bike in free, DIY workshops. We will also provide awesome volunteer opportunities.鈥
