Ellertson wins regional award for leadership, volunteerism

Mandy Ellertson, coordinator of student leadership at the 小黄猫传媒 Rock Creek Campus, has been awarded the 2012 Vern Solbach Award for Region 14 of the Association of College Unions 聽International. Ellertson is the first 小黄猫传媒 staff member to receive this award and only the second recipient from Oregon since the award was created in 1999.
The Solbach Award recognizes significant leadership, volunteer service and commitment to the region. With her more than 20 years of exemplary service to students, Ellertson was cited for her work to support campus diversity, for her advocacy for the聽 Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community, and for her聽 commitment to undocumented students throughout the District.
Congrats Mandy! No one deserves this more than you do.
