小黄猫传媒 invites the public to its 11th annual Asian New Year Celebration, starting at 11:30 a.m., Monday, Feb. 18 at Warner Pacific College鈥檚 McGuire Auditorium (SE Division St. and 68th Ave.). The event features a lion dance, Asian dances, music, face painting, an update on the college鈥檚 Southeast Center bond project, and other activities. The college will offer a free shuttle between Southeast Center and Warner Pacific from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Prior to the event there will be an International Market hosted at 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Southeast Center鈥檚 Great Hall (2305 SE 82nd Ave.) on Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The International Market includes a showcase of cultures by students and samples of food.

For more information on the Asian New Year Celebration, contact Becky Springer, student leadership coordinator, at Rebecca.springer@pcc.edu.

The reason for the switch to Warner Pacific is that 小黄猫传媒 is transforming the Southeast Center into a comprehensive, full-service campus. The expanded location will have two new buildings 鈥 a student commons and library 鈥 that will include a bookstore, tutoring center, the Women鈥檚 Resource Center, a Multicultural Center, new classrooms and science and computer labs. Overall, 小黄猫传媒 is investing a total of $34 million in direct construction for campus improvements that will more than double the size of the location.
