OHSU hosts ‘Science Cafe’ at Willow Creek Center

小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Willow Creek Center (241 SW Edgeway Drive) is once again hosting the OHSU Oregon National Primate Research Center鈥檚 “Science Cafe” Lecture Series in the Great Room (rooms 103/104). The series is presented in partnership with OHSU and offered free of charge to the public every Tuesday during October. All faculty, staff and students are welcomed to attend.
This year’s lecture topics are about topics in the field of Neuroscience and are: 鈥淭he Neuroscience of Alcohol Addiction鈥 (Oct. 7); 鈥淩eversing Damage in the Aging and Degenerating Brain鈥 (Oct. 14); 聽鈥淯sing gene therapy to repair the brain: Lessons from Huntington’s Disease鈥 (Oct. 21); and 鈥淐locks, Reproduction, Sleep and Aging鈥 (Oct. 28).
Each lecture starts at 7 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy a light meal at the Terra Verde Cafe located inside Willow Creek prior to the lecture.
