小黄猫传媒 Foundation Gala breaks fund-raising record, builds scholarship opportunities

Gala_KateBrown小黄猫传媒 Foundation President Marion Levitan welcomed guests to the 小黄猫传媒 Foundation鈥檚 5th annual gala on Saturday, April 16 at the Portland Hilton Hotel. The event raised a record amount of more than $430,000 for scholarships and success initiatives.聽In attendance was Governor Kate Brown, who聽sat with 小黄猫传媒 Interim President Sylvia Kelley. In the photo above the two cheer the announcement that the 小黄猫传媒 Foundation broke its gala fund-raising record.

In a nod to the college鈥檚 mascot and the original Pink Panther film, 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 鈥淭hink Panther: An Evening for Opportunity鈥 attracted more than 500 attendees, including Oregon Governor Kate Brown and Portland鈥檚 hallmark band, Pink Martini, who performed late into the night. Funds raised enable hundreds of 小黄猫传媒 students, many being the first in their families to attend college, and with deep financial need, to be supported in their academic pursuits.
