小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Public Safety officers attend major law enforcement training in Columbia County

Last week, 小黄猫传媒 sent five Public Safety officers to a five-day, 40-hour crisis intervention team training in Columbia County. The officers skills were tested in specially designed scenarios so they can identify, communicate and assist people suffering a mental health crisis.

鈥淭his is the exact training that police and sheriff departments provide to their members,鈥 said 小黄猫传媒 Public Safety Director Derrick Foxworth. 鈥淭his training provides officers with enhanced skills should they come across someone experiencing a mental crisis.鈥
Participating 小黄猫传媒 officers were Kyle Clark, Todd Johnson, James Moir, Carissa Rudnick and Tom Semph.
