GPSEN Sustainability Symposium chance to show off 小黄猫传媒’s green efforts to region

More than 100聽regional leaders convened at 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Sylvania Campus聽in Southwest Portland for the first-ever Greater Portland Sustainability Education Network (GPSEN) Sustainability Symposium on聽Friday, Jan. 27.聽Co-sponsored by 小黄猫传媒 and the Port of Portland, GPSEN鈥檚 symposium focused on聽academic and community research about聽sustainability issues in the Portland region through presentations, workshops, displays, awards and networking.

It was also an opportunity for 小黄猫传媒 to shine. In a midday workshop, 小黄猫传媒 Sustainability Manager Briar Schoon highlighted the college’s campus sustainability efforts across the district, including the learning gardens and recycling program, and how they all connect to the community. Throughout the day, the symposium featured workshops and panelists from 小黄猫传媒, PSU, City Repair, SERA Architects and the EPA, to name a few.聽The keynote speaker was Hatch Innovation founder and Executive Director Amy Pearl.
