С��è��ý to host Westside Vaccine Clinic on Wednesday, June 30

С��è��ý, in collaboration with Medical Teams International, Washington County, and TriMet, will host a free, walk-up COVID-19 vaccine clinic at its Willow Creek Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 30. Open to everyone 18 and older, the outdoor clinic will feature “one-and-done” Johnson & Johnson vaccines, which require just one dose for full efficacy.

No appointments, proof of insurance or identification are required and bilingual support staff will be onsite to assist Spanish speakers. Plus, the first 75 individuals to receive the vaccine will receive a $25 Fred Meyer gift card.

Located between Beaverton and Hillsboro in Washington County, С��è��ý’s Willow Creek Center (241 SW Edgeway Drive in Beaverton) is adjacent to TriMet’s Willow Creek Transit Center along the MAX Blue Line and multiple bus lines along West Baseline Road. There is plenty of free parking available onsite.

Governor Kate Brown previously announced a statewide vaccination target to more fully reopen Oregon’s economy, setting a 70% statewide goal to reach Oregonians 18 and older with a first dose to lift most Risk Level restrictions. After achieving 70%, Oregon may continue requiring some use of masks and physical distancing, but other health and safety requirements for counties under the Risk Level framework will be lifted, and counties will no longer be assigned risk levels.

As of June 23, Oregon has achieved a vaccination rate of 68.9%, including a state-best 72.2% in Washington County. However, only 48.9% of the county’s Hispanic/Latinx population – Washington County’s largest ethnic minority group – has been vaccinated.
