С»Æ贫ý Foundation celebrates more than 250 scholarship recipients and donors

For the first time since 2019, the С»Æ贫ý Foundation hosted its annual Scholarship Reception, bringing together more than 240 students, donors and college leaders in the Sylvania Campus gym. The event, which was paused due to the pandemic, celebrated the achievements of С»Æ贫ý scholarship recipients and honored the donors who support their educational journeys.
With a theme of “Community and Possibility,” the evening was filled with messages of resilience, hope, and the impact of collective investment in education. The program featured speeches from С»Æ贫ý Foundation Board President Kim Morgan, С»Æ贫ý graduate and accountant Melissa Lamproe and С»Æ贫ý President Dr. Adrien Bennings and emceed by Ivan Hernandez, former С»Æ贫ý scholarship recipient and current director of Community Development for the Hillsboro Hops.
During the 2024-2025 academic year, the С»Æ贫ý Foundation aims to award nearly $2.4 million in scholarships to support 1,550 students, underscoring its commitment to advancing educational opportunities in the community.
