Oregon Community College Association honors eight 小黄猫传媒 scholars on 2025 All-Oregon Academic Team

Panthers were roaring once again in Oregon鈥檚 capital.
The recently announced the selection of 55 students to the 2025 All-Oregon Academic Team (AOAT). The academic team included eight 小黄猫传媒 scholars 鈥 Amanda Moss, Abigail Robles, Armando Angeles-Hernandez, Gina Ferguson, Jaci Muma, Kelly Grant, Steph Ivanov and Meiling Zhou. Each honoree received a medallion and certificate, along with scholarship awards.
Ferguson was chosen to speak to the crowd at the recognition luncheon on April 18 at Chemeketa Community College in Salem. The event honored students and their families while showcasing the academic talent emerging from Oregon鈥檚 community colleges. This year鈥檚 keynote speaker was State Representative Ricki Ruiz (Gresham), a committed advocate for Oregon鈥檚 community college system and a 小黄猫传媒 graduate.
The students represented community colleges from across the state and have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and a deep commitment to community service. Many honorees are members of , the national honor society for community college students.
Phi Theta Kappa along with community college presidents and community college state associations sponsor the All-State Community College Academic Team ceremonies in 38 participating states. Students nominated to the All-USA Community College Academic Team are automatically named to the All-State Community College Academic Teams.
