The Soul District Business Association (SDBA) invites the community to the 14th Annual MLK Dream Run Weekend Celebration, happening Sept. 20鈥21 at 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 Cascade Campus.

This year鈥檚 theme, “Strengthening Our Communities,” echoes Dr. King鈥檚 belief in our shared humanity: 鈥淲hatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.鈥 The Dream Run brings this vision to life by uniting neighbors, businesses, and changemakers in action.

鈥淲e are proud to partner with the Soul District Business Association to host the MLK Dream Run in support of small businesses and youth entrepreneurship,” said 小黄猫传媒 President Dr. Adrien Bennings. “At 小黄猫传媒, we鈥檙e deeply committed to educating the next generation of change-makers and fostering partnerships that uplift our community.”

On Saturday, Sept. 20 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), the kickoff celebration features pre-race registration, a free kids鈥 race, live entertainment, and the vibrant Soulful Vendor Village. Attendees can also explore wellness activities, small business and workforce resources, Nike鈥檚 Shakeout Run, an EV Ride & Drive, and giveaways鈥攊ncluding a round-trip ticket from Alaska Airlines.

On Sunday, Sept. 21 (7 a.m. to noon), runners take to the streets for USATF-sanctioned 5K, 10K, and 15K Geoff Hollister Tribute Races. Finishers will enjoy swag bags, refreshments, and chances to win local prizes and airfare.

鈥淪trengthening our communities isn鈥檛 just a theme鈥攊t鈥檚 a mandate,鈥 said John Washington, SDBA Executive Director.
