To earn the AAS degree you will first complete a set of basic science courses in biology and chemistry before enrolling in the Bioscience Technology program. Once admitted, you complete a core of technical courses and learn:

  • Solution preparation
  • Manipulation of DNA and proteins
  • Biochemical assays and other analytical procedures
  • Preparative purification procedures
  • Cell culture

You have flexibility in choosing course electives from among these options to develop your advanced technical skillset or pursue additional theory and training in crossover areas such as microelectronics and technical writing.
