Details about this class
This is an IN-PERSON comprehensive course designed to help you understand health & fitness training guidelines and apply the knowledge and activities to your daily life. The following guidelines will be taught:
Cardiovascular Training (aerobic)
Strength & Endurance Training (anaerobic)
Mobility & Flexibility (anaerobic)
You will complete fitness assessments, fitness assignments, tracking exercise legs, and discussions (in class). Some of the assignments will be done outside of class. Most of the fitness assessments will be conducted in class. At the end of the course you will make your own training plan based on the principles that you learn in this class.
Technology
No special teachnology is needed. Just use of D2L and computer.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
