Develop your artistic vision with Drawing 2! This course builds is designed to build up your confidence in drawing: you can work on your own drawings, changing their slightly to reflect the major assignments in the class. Alternatively, you can work on the Drawing 1 assignments if you need practice in any of the areas we cover.

Main class assignments include gesture/contour, sighting, measuring, proportion, value and shading, space and perspective and many more. We will use a range of materials including charcoal, graphite and pen and ink. We will work from a variety of subjects including still lifes, photographs, architecture and your own interests.

All of the supplies are available at С»Æ贫ý Campus Bookstores or Artist & Craftsman, Collage, Blick, Columbia Art and Drafting Supply, I've Been Framed and Michael's. There is a kit available at the bookstore closer to when the term starts, it will cost between $80 and $100 and can be purchased with financial aid.

This class will meet in-person, face-to-face with minimal technology required, your assignments are uploaded to D2L

Some course content will be delivered through email and/or D2L as needed.

All Materials needed for the class are available as a kit from the bookstore or you can use supplies you already have.
