MUS113C Sight Singing/Ear Training III

Continues the building of aural skills through singing, listening, transcribing and performing. Introduces seventh chords, subdivisions in compound meter, and blues scales. Includes singing in 3 and 4 parts, melodies with large leaps, and syncopation across measures. Recommended: concurrent enrollment in MUS 113, MUS 193P, and MUC 130C. Prerequisites: MUS 112C, MUC 120B, or instructor permission. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
