PSY101 Psychology and Human Relations

Applies evidence-based psychological principles to personal and professional relationships in social and cultural contexts. Includes an overview of basic psychological and cultural concepts related to human behavior and interactions. Introduces principles of communication, listening, and conflict resolution with an emphasis on skill development to improve relationships. Prerequisite: (WR 115 and RD 115) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available. (See course content and outcomes.)
