What You鈥檒l Learn
We鈥檒l work through a flexible process you can return to as your goals and circumstances change:
- Clarify your goals: Identify what matters to you, assess your current situation, and calculate your net worth.
- Manage your money: Understand cash flow and create a realistic plan for income and expenses.
- Build a financial cushion: Set an emergency-fund goal and compare approaches to reducing debt.
- Understand investing: Learn about compound growth, diversification, common investments, and retirement accounts.
- Create savings habits: Explore automation and considerations for larger goals, including buying a home.
- Spend with intention: Direct money toward the things that bring you joy and regularly review your plan.
What to Expect
Each session combines instruction, discussion, reflection, and hands-on exercises. You鈥檒l use the Let鈥檚 Make Wealth Fair workbook, worksheets, and online resources to put the concepts into practice.
Bring your questions and a calculator or notebook. A device that can work with spreadsheets is helpful but optional. Between sessions, suggested readings and action steps will help you build on what you鈥檝e learned. The focus is personal progress rather than formal grading.
Financial experiences differ, and questions are welcome. You can use approximate or hypothetical numbers for every activity. Please keep personal financial information private.
