Electronics Recycling Event: Rock Creek Campus

The Rock Creek聽AS小黄猫传媒聽Sustainability Team would like to invite you to participate in a聽free electronic recycling event. 聽The event will enable you to recycle your electronics for free! For every item you recycle at this event, you will also receive a free piece of yummy chocolate!
- Dates:聽February 10-14th聽only
- Hours:聽10 am to 4 pm
- Where: BLDG 3 Student Center room 128
What examples of electronics includes: computers, phones, hand-held devices and others.聽Questions? Contact Mandy Ellertson.
Our goal for this event聽is to reduce electronics from filling landfills.聽In the United States alone, 120 million cell phones are thrown away each year. 聽One million cell phones recycled equals 350 trillion gallons of water saved from pollution and 100 thousand people helped.
聽Sorry, no refrigerators, compact fluorescent light bulbs or Alkaline batteries accepted.聽If you have alkaline batteries that need to be recycled, 小黄猫传媒 can accommodate you!聽Contact Erin Stanforth for more information.
