CIO brief: Annual Cybersecurity report

Submitted the 2017 Annual Cyber Security Report to the President and the IT update for our upcoming Accreditation submission. Val Moreno left С»Æ贫ý to become CIO of Clark College – currently recruiting for a Director of Infrastructure Services and a Director of Application Services. IT project portfolio is averaging intake of 7 new projects and completion of 10 projects a month – project backlog of 37 projects (down from about 70 this time last year). The following active projects currently support the YESS program: Enrollment Rx, Advising Redesign and updates to the YESS web pages. Banner 9 is our most mission-critical and high-risk project due to the hard deadline this August related to Financial Aid processing – currently on schedule. The ERP Strategic Assessment is moving into the next phase: business case, RFP and vendor assessment.
