Remote Access
Many 小黄猫传媒 online services are available from off-campus, just as they are from on-campus.聽 For example, you can connect to My小黄猫传媒 and D2L the same way whether you are on campus or not, using the same links and login.聽 However, some online services used by employees require additional protection when accessed from offsite.
In these cases, IT offers several solutions that permit remote access while still protecting 小黄猫传媒鈥檚 data.聽 For example, we support VPN (virtual private network) connections that allow your offsite computer to see the same network and applications that you get on-campus.聽 We鈥檙e also rolling out newer technologies that offer security without the need of VPN, such as Banner Secure Access and Splashtop.
