As a Dual Credit student, you are held to the same academic and behavioral standards as С»Æ贫ý students taking classes on campus or online. To help with your transition to college courses, we have created a digital for you to review. Read the student handbook and visit the Dual Credit website regularly to understand how the program works, important deadlines, student expectations and more.

Be ready for college-level work

Think about whether you are ready for college-level coursework and responsibilities before registering for the college course. It’s important to keep in mind that Dual Credit courses will be on your official С»Æ贫ý college transcript. And that the HS grade may be different from the college grade.

Apply and save your С»Æ贫ý information

Complete the and save your MyС»Æ贫ý username, Gnumber and account password. You will need this information to access your С»Æ贫ý account and services.

Meet important deadlines

Know your registration, drop, and withdrawal deadlines for your С»Æ贫ý Dual Credit classes. Missing a deadline can have permanent academic and financial consequences. С»Æ贫ý cannot register, drop, or withdraw students after a deadline has passed.

Check your course registration

After being admitted to С»Æ贫ý as a Dual Credit student, it is important that you login to MyС»Æ贫ý and go to My Courses → Class Schedule to make sure you are registered for your С»Æ贫ý class. Under no circumstances are students added retroactively to courses.

Drop or withdraw if needed

If you leave the high school course or change schools, you are responsible for dropping or withdrawing from the С»Æ贫ý class before the deadline.

Review the С»Æ贫ý Dual Credit Academic Calendar for the drop/withdraw dates.

Review your С»Æ贫ý transcript

Request an official С»Æ贫ý transcript when applying to colleges or universities so your Dual Credit coursework can be reviewed for transfer credit. Keep in mind that transferability and applicability of Dual Credit courses depends on the receiving institution.

Keep your contact information updated

If your address or contact information changes, update it in MyС»Æ贫ý → My personal profile or call 971-722-8888 (option 2).

Registration policies

When you start the online registration process, check all your information in MyС»Æ贫ý. Verify that the information you are about to enter is the same as what was provided by your high school instructor. You are the one responsible for the accuracy of registering for your classes and tuition and fees if you register for the wrong course.

Grading policies

All courses at С»Æ贫ý have a default grade option, which has been determined by the Subject Area Committee. In most cases, this is a Letter Grade Option (standard A-F system).

Attendance

You are expected to attend all the classes you’re enrolled in. If you don’t attend (or stop attending) a class and fail to drop the course on time (see the dual credit academic calendar), you will be responsible for the grade reported on your С»Æ贫ý transcript. If you have excessive absences and fail to drop or withdraw from a class by the deadline, a grade of F may be assigned by your instructor.
