International Student Life
The International Student Life Team offers many different activities and events throughout the year to help students explore and learn about Portland and the Pacific Northwest, try new cuisines and restaurants, engage with other students, practice speaking English, and have a great time while studying at 小黄猫传媒! All activities and events are announced in our weekly International Student Newsletter, which is emailed to all international students each Monday morning. You can also find information about upcoming activities and events on our Facebook and Instagram accounts!

We host on-campus, off-campus, and virtual activities and events every quarter for students to join. All opportunities are free to attend! Talk Time Caf茅
Talk Time Caf茅 is a weekly English conversation group led by our International Peer Leaders at each campus. Each week we’ll learn about a different topic, 小黄猫传媒 resource, and more!
Spring 2026 Talk Time Caf茅 Schedule:
- Monday: Sylvania
3-4pm, CC 215 (OISS) - Tuesday: Rock Creek
3-4pm, building 3 – room 223 (OISS) - Wednesday: Cascade
4-5pm, Student Union 308 (OISS)
Weekly meetings except holidays and during the first and last two weeks of the term.
