What is a social media ambassador?

A Social Media Ambassador is a student storyteller, content creator, and С»Æ贫ý advocate all rolled into one! You’ll use your creativity and social media savvy to showcase what it’s like to be a С»Æ贫ý student. You can be on camera or behind the scenes – either way, we want to see С»Æ贫ý through your eyes. Using Instagram Reels, posts, and event coverage, you’ll help share the real С»Æ贫ý experience with current and future students.

What you’ll do

• Create Instagram and TikTok posts weekly highlighting campus life, events, programs, and resources.
• Attend two С»Æ贫ý events per term and share them on social media.
• Host one Instagram Story takeover per term to give followers a behind-the-scenes look at С»Æ贫ý.
• Engage with С»Æ贫ý’s official social media accounts by liking, commenting, and sharing.
• Meet every other week with the Marketing team to brainstorm and plan content.

Time commitment: Approx. 6 hours per week (60 hours per term)

Who we’re looking for

We’re searching for creative, outgoing, and reliable students who love social media and are passionate about С»Æ贫ý! If you enjoy capturing moments, following trends, and creating content that resonates, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Minimum qualifications:

• Current С»Æ贫ý student in good academic, financial, and behavioral standing.
• Comfortable using Instagram Reels and/or TikTok.
• Ability to create engaging, high-quality content.
• Committed to maintaining a positive online presence.
• Must follow and engage with С»Æ贫ý’s official social media accounts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with video editing, photography, or graphic design.
• Involvement in С»Æ贫ý student organizations, clubs, or activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Interest in social media trends, digital marketing, or content strategy.
• Familiarity with С»Æ贫ý campuses, resources, and student services.
