Story by James Hill
Oregon Secretary of State Bill Bradbury will appear at the Cascade Campus to give the Oregon perspective to Al Gore’s Academy Award-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.” Bradbury will speak from 3 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26 in Room 104 of the Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building.
Oregon’s Secretary of State completed a rigorous training program led by the former Vice President to spread the message about the threat of, and solutions to, global warming. Bradbury was part of a select group that took part in an intensive tutorial about issues surrounding global warming, led by Gore and a team of renowned scientists and environmental educators. Bradbury, as the state’s second-highest-ranking constitutional officer, is auditor of public accounts, chief elections officer, and manager of the state’s corporate filings and official legislative and executive records.
